Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: October 9, 2026 (version 1)
Conditions for safely using FDPocket, including creation, posting, AI use, purchases, membership and creator earnings.
1. Application and eligibility
These Terms apply to the FDPocket website and mobile apps (the Service), provided by Moon Technica Inc. (we, us). Read and accept these Terms when registering, creating, posting or purchasing. Conditions explicitly presented for a particular feature or product also apply to that feature or product. You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, obtain consent from your legal guardian, including for purchases and sharing information with third-party AI providers. Features may be restricted by age or region. The Service is currently not offered in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
2. Accounts and collaboration
Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. Protect your login credentials. Do not lend or sell accounts or impersonate others. Contact us if you discover unauthorized use. Organization members must act through their own accounts and assigned permissions. Organization administrators manage access, spending and visibility; members must respect each other’s and third parties’ rights. Review the permissions and actions of external agents you authorize. Collaborators are responsible for agreeing how rights in their joint work are allocated.
3. Rights in apps, posts and assets
Existing rights remain with you or their rightful owners. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit posts, apps, source code and assets. Section 4 also applies to AI outputs. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to copy, transform, transmit and display submitted content, and to use service providers for those activities, as necessary to store, deliver, display, collaborate on, check the safety of and improve the Service. We may also display public content as necessary to introduce the Service. This permission does not transfer ownership. Publishing an app permits others to use it. Forking and reuse of source code are subject to the permissions enabled in the Service and the licenses of included assets and libraries. Check the scope of permissions when collaborating or merging pull requests. Publication alone does not permit unrestricted commercial use.
4. AI generation and external services
AI features send inputs, creation chats, source code and relevant assets to OpenAI and the providers of the models used. See the Privacy Policy for recipients, purposes and handling of information. Accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for sharing personal information with third parties. AI outputs may be inaccurate, similar to other outputs or involve third-party rights. We do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity, non-infringement, a particular result or that a generated app will work. Review content, safety, rights and the conditions of relevant models and assets before publishing or using outputs. Do not rely solely on AI outputs for medical, legal or financial decisions. External services and stores have their own terms. Do not submit personal or confidential information without permission or inputs that infringe third-party rights.
5. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited: • Illegal activity, fraud, illegal gambling, facilitating crime or providing benefits to organized criminal groups. • Child sexual exploitation or abuse content, explicit sexual content, glorification of severe violence, or encouragement of self-harm or suicide. • Discrimination, threats, harassment, defamation, impersonation or disclosure of others’ personal information without permission. • Infringement of copyright, trademarks, likeness or privacy rights, including unauthorized use of a person’s voice or image. • Spam, fraudulent mass registration, manipulation of rankings or ratings, or fraudulent purchases, refunds or rewards. • Unauthorized access, malicious code, excessive load, or bypassing age, region, permission or safety restrictions. • Circumventing restrictions to provide prohibited free-text chat or similar features inside apps. • Unfairly harming our or others’ services or rights. These restrictions do not limit conduct permitted by law or applicable open-source licenses.
6. Safety, reports and restrictions
To protect safety and rights and prevent abuse, we may use automated checks, including AI, and human review. Where necessary and reasonable, we may hold publication, hide or remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts. Urgent safety needs, legal obligations or protecting investigations may require action without advance notice. Use reporting or blocking features, or our contact form, to report problematic content or users. Rights complaints should identify the content URL, evidence of your rights and your contact details. You can also use the form to dispute an action or report a mistaken decision. We review submissions and take action as appropriate. Disclosures to authorities follow applicable law.
7. Credits and usage
Credits are units used for AI processing and eligible apps or products within the Service. Purchased credits, membership benefits, free grants and creator earnings are tracked separately by origin and eligibility for use or withdrawal. Check purchase screens, feature descriptions and applicable individual conditions for prices, amounts granted, usage calculation and eligible uses. AI consumes credits based on actual processing, including when the output does not meet your expectations. Balance updates may be delayed. Contact us about errors in usage records. Purchased credits, membership benefits and free grants cannot be redeemed for cash, freely transferred or resold. Refunds required by law and corrections or refunds under Section 9 are exceptions. Withdrawals of eligible creator earnings are governed by Section 10. For grants with an expiration date, check the expiration date and conditions shown at purchase or grant. We will not retroactively impose adverse expiration conditions on existing balances without the procedures required by law.
8. Purchases, membership and cancellation
Available products and membership benefits are shown at purchase. Review the price, currency, taxes, amount granted, term, renewal date and conditions, and payment method before buying. You pay for your internet connection and devices. Auto-renewing memberships renew at the price and interval shown at purchase until cancelled. Manage Web contracts through the contract management screen and Apple or Google contracts through the relevant store’s subscription settings. Follow the store’s cancellation deadlines and procedures. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a store subscription. After cancellation, paid membership benefits remain available until the end of the paid period. Section 9 governs refunds during a period. Additional charges, grants and effective dates for plan changes follow the conditions shown for confirmation. Changes to existing contract prices or benefits will be announced with their effective date in advance, with any procedures required by law or store rules.
9. Corrections, cancellations and refunds
We generally do not offer post-purchase cancellation for personal preference or prorated refunds for digital products or services already used. This does not limit rights to cancel, terminate or obtain refunds under applicable law. For problems attributable to us, such as duplicate charges, non-delivery or incorrect usage, we review records and provide corrections, re-delivery or refunds as appropriate. Refunds for store purchases follow Apple’s or Google’s procedures and decisions and applicable law. Refunds or reversed payments may result in reversal or adjustment of related grants, purchase entitlements or creator earnings. Credit corrections preserve the original source and eligibility; refunds do not create new withdrawal eligibility.
10. Creator earnings
Creator rewards and withdrawals are available only to eligible participants who accept the separate conditions presented for the relevant program and meet its requirements. Revenue shares, withdrawal rates, minimum amounts, supported regions and holding periods are specified separately for that program. These Terms alone do not guarantee earnings or withdrawals. Identity verification, tax information and payout account registration may be required. Earnings related to fraud, infringement, refunds or reversed payments may be held or corrected while necessary checks are performed. Purchased credits, free grants and membership benefits do not become eligible for withdrawal merely through the passage of time.
11. Account closure and content deletion
You can request account closure in account settings. Closing an account may end access to content and balances, so review contracts, balances, collaborations and data you wish to keep beforehand. Statutory refund rights remain unaffected. You can hide or delete apps and posts within your permissions. Recovery periods, backups, transaction records and abuse investigations may prevent immediate deletion. We may not be able to remove copies saved by others, forks created under a valid permission, or other people’s posts and collaborative work. Retention and deletion of personal information follow the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes, interruptions and termination
We may change features to improve the Service, address technical issues or comply with law. We will give advance notice of significant changes where possible. Maintenance, failures, disasters, external service outages or safety measures may interrupt some or all of the Service. If we terminate the Service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice unless unavoidable circumstances prevent this. We will explain the necessary handling and procedures, including refunds where required by law or contract, for paid contracts and unused paid balances.
13. Warranties and liability
We do not guarantee operation on every device, uninterrupted or error-free service, suitability for a particular purpose, or that user content is free of infringement. Keep your own copies of important data. We are responsible for harm attributable to us in accordance with applicable law. These Terms do not exclude or limit liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or liability and consumer rights that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including Japan’s Consumer Contract Act. We may respond to reports about user or third-party disputes, but are not obliged to resolve them as a party unless we bear responsibility ourselves.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms when the change benefits users generally or is reasonable in light of the contract’s purpose, necessity and substance of the change, in accordance with Article 548-4 of Japan’s Civil Code and other applicable law. We will announce the changes and effective date on this page or through the Service. For materially adverse changes, we aim to give at least 30 days’ notice unless unavoidable circumstances prevent this. We will obtain individual consent when required. Adverse changes will not apply retroactively to past transactions without the procedures required by law.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law without depriving you of mandatory protections applicable in your place of residence or elsewhere. Disputes relating to the Service are resolved by courts with jurisdiction under applicable law. If part of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. If a translation differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version controls to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
16. iOS app license
Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies to the license to use the iOS app. These Terms govern use of the FDPocket service and do not register a Custom EULA with the App Store. Store purchase and usage conditions and statutory consumer rights also apply.
