Build apps with AI agents
Besides chatting in the editor, you can build an app with your own coding agent, then preview and release it here.
What it is
Your own coding agent writes the app on your computer. When it pushes, the platform checks the build and adds it to your repository as a new commit. You preview and release it here, as with apps made in chat.
What you need
- Claude Code, the Claude app (Code tab), or Codex (other agents that support Agent Skills and MCP also work)
- git and Git LFS (your repository becomes a git repository on your computer; images and sounds go through Git LFS)
- A registered account (guests can’t make apps)
Set up your agent
Pick your agent and run these once. Logging in opens a browser window where you allow access.
Your agent
Install the FDPocket plugin (this also adds its marketplace)
/plugin install fdpocket-creator --marketplace MoonTechnica/agent-pluginsTurn on automatic updates: in /plugin, open the Marketplaces tab, select moon-technica, and choose Enable auto-update (it is off by default for this marketplace)
Pull this repository's current commit. The first time you use FDPocket, a browser window opens so you can allow access.
/fdpocket-creator:pull <repository-id>
MCP server URL
https://fdpocket.dev/mcp/creatorHow a build goes
Log in to the platform through the MCP server (once per agent).
Tools the agent uses:
whoamiPick one of your repositories, or create a new one.
Tools the agent uses:
list_projectscreate_projectget_projectPull the current main history (git) and the SDK.
Tools the agent uses:
get_sdkget_git_bundlesBuild and change the app on your computer.
Push the build.
Tools the agent uses:
begin_buildsubmit_buildWait while the platform checks it (usually a minute or two).
Tools the agent uses:
get_buildcancel_buildOpen the editor link the agent shows you and try the new commit in the preview.
Publish from the app when you’re happy with it.
To improve someone else's repository, fork it, send your changes, and once validation passes ask the agent to open a pull request (no need to publish)

What the agent can and can’t do
The agent can
- Create new repositories
- Pull and push commits of repositories you can edit, including your organizations' repositories
- Fork public repositories that allow it (the fork belongs to you or your organization)
- Open, update or close pull requests to the upstream repository, and comment on pull requests
- Merge pull requests that reached your repositories (the result lands on main; nothing is released)
- Generate images, sounds and 3D assets with your credits
- See build and check status
The agent can't
- Publish, unpublish or post apps, or change fork and pull request settings
- Spend credits on anything other than asset tools
- Manage organizations or change account settings
- Report apps or people
- Delete repositories or your account
Opening, closing, commenting on and merging pull requests reach other people, so Claude Code asks you before each one. In Codex, set these tools to ask for approval (see the guide).
Costs and limits
- The AI model runs on your own Claude or OpenAI plan. The platform doesn’t charge credits for it.
- Asset tools (images) spend credits, as in the editor. Each repository has a daily limit that resets at 00:00 UTC.
- You can push up to 20 times an hour.
No local preview
Troubleshooting
- Login fails or keeps asking again
- Log out and log in again. In Claude Code, open /mcp, select tokoyo, log out and log in. In Codex, run codex mcp logout tokoyo, then codex mcp login tokoyo. Claude Code uses a fixed callback port, so close anything else using it.
- “Kit outdated”
- Update the FDPocket plugin, then retry. In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace update tokoyo-plugins. In Codex, run codex plugin marketplace upgrade tokoyo-plugins. For other agents, run npx skills add again.
- “Stale base”
- main changed since you pulled (for example, from chat in the editor). The agent pulls again, rebases your changes onto it (like git pull --rebase), then pushes.
- Images or sounds won’t upload (Git LFS asks for credentials)
- Ask the agent to log in to the Kit (node <kit>/scripts/kit.mjs login). You allow it once in the browser; it is separate from the MCP login.
- Disconnect an agent
- Go to Account settings → Connected agents and disconnect it. It stops working right away.
